Project Info
In 2018, Airbus gave a mandate to GRSA to design the new Pre-FAL (Final Assembly Line) for the production of the A-220 series airplanes in Mirabel, Quebec. The process prepares the fuselage components prior to final assembly. The project was constructed in an existing Airbus facility at YMX airport. The former assembly equipment was entirely removed. The new process represents significantly higher efficiency in the production of aircraft. The project also includes the creation of new offices, cafeteria, washrooms and other facilities to accommodate employees.
