McAuslan Brewery Expansion

In 2016, the brewery was expanded to house cider production and a new barrel fermentation room. The rows of barrels and the fermentation equipment are dramatically lit to create a visual beacon at the east end of the brewery complex.
During the summer of 2016, the terrace was expanded to increase the seating capacity to over five hundred people. A new bar area and a pizza oven were installed to serve this growing population.
The bar, the pizza restaurant and additional washrooms are all housed in repurposed marine containers.

The addition to the brewery, the expansion of the terrace and the creation of the new pizza kitchen were a continuation of the GRS Architecture and Pierre Archambault Architect collaboration.
