Project Info

This private jet hangar was designed to accommodate a Boeing Business Jet, a Global Express and a Bell 430 helicopter. The hangar door creates an opening forty-five feet (45'-0") high and one hundred and thirty eight feet (138'-0") wide. A continuous band of clerestory windows, twelve feet (12'-0") high, floods the interior with natural light. All interior surfaces in the hangar are painted a brilliant white.
The office component has five thousand square feet of usable area on two floors. There are offices, a conference room, a flight planning area, kitchen, washrooms, and a double height, fully glazed atrium. This reception area is protected with louvred sunshades, creating a comfortable waiting area for travellers with spectacular views of the runways.
